Barbecue for Brunch | Pre-Cooked Ribs for Any Meal ›

pre-cooked-ribsIf you’ve tried Tony Roma’s pre-cooked ribs, they’re likely one of your favorite meals. Versatile and succulent, they are the perfect choice for lunch, dinner, and snack time or … brunch? Believe it or not, pre-cooked ribs and other types of barbecue can be a delicious addition on your brunch table, especially when prepared in these tempting recipes.

  • Baby Back Ribs Eggs Benedict can be made with leftover pre-cooked ribs. For this recipe, you use enough ribs for two, and heat them in a 350° oven before shredding the meat. While the ribs are warming, make hickory-hoisin sauce by mixing 2 parts hickory smoke and 1 part hoisin sauce. Toss the meat lightly in the sauce and set it onto a couple of slices of corn bread. Poach eggs, cracking them gently into a pot of simmering water, along with a couple of teaspoons of white vinegar. Remove the eggs from the pot after about two minutes, using a slotted spoon and placing them on top of the porch. Top with sliced scallions, if you’d like.
  • Short Ribs Tacos can also be prepared simply with pre-cooked ribs. If you want to go all out, you can prepare your own grain-free tortillas as explained in the linked recipe, but using pre-made tortillas makes it even easier. What could be more delicious than ribs shredded, put into tortillas, topped with sriracha mayo, avocados and shredded cabbage?
  • Pulled Pork Hash is easy and delicious. Simply melt a tablespoon of butter in a saucepan and sauté half a red onion before adding about 8 ounces of pulled pork. Dice 2 leftover baked potatoes and add them to the mixture, cooking for about five more minutes, or until potatoes are browned, stirring occasionally. Season with salt black pepper, and, if desired, cayenne pepper.
  • Leftover Pulled Pork with a Fried Egg is a perfect brunch for one. What’s involved? Just what the name says: an egg, fried in one teaspoon of olive oil, served with leftover pulled pork that you’ve heated while the egg was frying. The combination of flavors and textures makes this a delicious treat.
  • Pulled Pork Breakfast Skillet is gluten-free and dairy-free. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan, then add half a sliced onion and cook until translucent before adding half a tomato, thinly sliced, and cooking for a couple more minutes. Add ¼- ½ cup of pulled pork and 2 tablespoons of canned beans, mixing together before forming 2 “nests” in which to crack 2 eggs. Crack the eggs into the pan, reduce heat to medium low, and cook until the eggs are set. Top with fresh chopped herbs and, if you aren’t concerned about it being dairy free, 2 tablespoons of cubed feta cheese.

No matter what time of day you’re craving barbecue, Tony Roma’s is there for you, with pre-cooked ribs and pulled pork you can pull right out of your fridge. Easy, convenient and ready to put on your table in about twenty minutes, Tony Roma’s barbecue is delicious and filling. Tony Roma’s Precooked Resolutions… One’s You Can Actually Keep! ›

The makers of Tony Roma’s Precooked Ribs offer some suggestions for resolutions you’ll actually keep.

This year, the makers of Tony Roma’s precooked ribs would like to encourage you to try something new: resolutions you’ll actually be able to keep. Oh yeah, we know, we all have the best intentions each January, and we convince ourselves we’ll actually follow through; eating only kale, training for that super marathon, learning French, finishing the next great American novel, etc. - but who are we kidding? We know by the end of February odds are good that we’ll be settling back into our old, familiar ways. Why not do it a little differently this year? Instead of piling too much on your plate at once, set smaller goals you can actually sink your teeth into. We at Tony Roma’s Ribs have some suggestions for resolutions that might actually stand a chance; all it takes is a simple switch-up.

  • Instead of committing to losing weight, resolve not to gain more than five pounds. Since the average person gains between five and eight pounds each year, this should be an easy one to manage. Just make up your mind to avoid eating ice cream (or, better yet, frozen yogurt) and drinking wine on the same day, and walk to the mailbox instead of backing the car to it.
  • Rethink your goal of learning a new language this year. The problem with learning a language is that the curve is steep, and it’s easy to become discouraged if we don’t see immediate results. Unfortunately, that’s just the way it is. You’re not going to learn an entire language just like that, but you might be able to learn how to count to 1,000 one week, all of the colors the next week, etc. It’s all about baby steps.
  • Have some serious goals? There’s an app for that. Rather than resolving to stop smoking, manage your finances better, train for a 5k, or lessen your stress, resolve to download the app for it. There are apps for all these things, from the Quit Smoking app, to Budget Boss, to the Couch to 5K app. Who knows? Downloading it might actually inspire you to take action! Pace yourself - don’t make up your mind on any actual action until you’ve had a couple of weeks to think it over.
  • Instead of eating fast food, treat yourself to Tony Roma’s precooked ribs. Now this is a resolution you can really sink your teeth into! Tony Roma’s ribs are so easy to prepare, they’ll take less time than going through the drive-thru and so delicious that you’ll wonder why you ever settled for less.

As silly as it may sound, Tony Roma’s precooked ribs can be the key to keeping many resolutions! We’ve already told you how to substitute Tony Roma’s precooked ribs for fast food, but did you know they could alleviate stress and give you more time with your family, too? Our precooked BBQ is quick and convenient, easy to prepare and on your table in 15 minutes. Such an easy meal can relieve any cook’s dinnertime stress, and the taste of Tony Roma’s Ribs and pulled pork are sure to draw your family back to the table. Less stress, healthier food and more family time - that’s three resolutions solved right there. A Checklist for Tailgating with Tony Roma’s Pre-Cooked Ribs ›

Pre-cooked ribs from Tony Roma’s are the perfect tailgating food.

Pre-cooked ribs might not be the first item on your tailgating checklist, but maybe they should be! Everyone knows a good tailgate experience involves good friends, good food and a good game for which to gear up, but why should it involve more work for those hosting? With mouthwatering pre-cooked ribs from Tony Roma’s, game day is a breeze, whether you’re out at the stadium or having a barbecue at home. So, what else do you need to ensure a successful tailgating party?

  • Obviously, you’ll want the right dinnerware. At home, you’ve no doubt got this covered, but if you’re hosting out in a parking lot, make sure you’ve got everything you and your friends will need, including team-themed dinnerware! You’ll want to show your spirit all the way down to your plates and napkins. Remember, too, to bring plastic containers and aluminum foil, in which to pack the leftovers.
  • You’ll also need a well-packed cooler. Chill everything before you put it in the cooler, and pack your cooler full, so no warm air can invade it. Put cans and bottles on the bottom, food packed in airtight containers next, then a layer of ice, with ice filling in any crevices, topped by any bagged foods.
  • The right tools are important. Bringing a grill? Make sure you have fuel, whether propane or charcoal, matches or a lighter, grilling utensils, and a metal bucket in which to empty hot coals when you’re done. Never forget a corkscrew and a bottle opener. Some clever, die-hard tailgaters even pack a toolbox specifically for this type of event, stocked with utensils, condiments, and even niceties like first aid items and moist towelettes. Don’t empty out your real tool box to bring essentials to the barbecue, though - make sure you have everything you need for your car as well, including jumper cables.
  • Bring the right food. Make sure to bring appetizers, a main course, side dishes, dessert and plenty of drinks. Prepare your food ahead of time, as much as possible. For instance, if you’re grilling, pat out your burgers before you go, and have your condiments and toppings ready to serve, neatly packed in plastic containers. Of course, if you bring pre-cooked ribs you can take some of the labor and guess work out of it. Who doesn’t love pre-cooked ribs from Tony Roma’s?
  • Prepare for comfort. This may mean bringing chairs or a canopy to put over your little crowd, or a blanket to spread on the grass. Know your location, to know exactly what you’ll need to ensure that you and your guests have the best time possible!

Tailgating is all about pleasing a crowd of friends, and what could be more crowd-pleasing than Tony Roma’s pre-cooked ribs? Pre-cooked and simple to prepare, they’re perfect for any crowd, whether you’re out with friends or having a barbecue at home.
