Baby Back Ribs are sourced from the upper and lower (back) area of the spine and ribs. These ribs tend to be smaller in size than spare ribs, but are often more tender than other rib cuts.
Conventional Oven: Place oven rack to middle position and preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Place ribs, meaty side up, in pan. Cook for approximately 15 minutes or until an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit has been reached and sauce begins to caramelize. Remove from oven and baste with remaining sauce as desired.
Gas or BBQ Grill: Preheat grill to medium high. Place ribs, meaty side up, on grill. Turn frequently, basting with extra sauce approximately 5 minutes into cooking. Grill for a total of 7-10 minutes until sauce begins to caramelize and internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Microwave Oven: Use a microwave-safe dish. DO NOT LINE WITH FOIL. Cut ribs in half to fit your dish, then place them, meaty side up, in a single layer in your dish. Cover with microwavable film or paper towel. Heat on high for 4-5 minutes (cooking time will vary with each microwave oven) until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove from microwave and baste with remaining sauce as desired.
